Susan O'Brien
Susan O'Brien has over
twenty years' experience in executive level financial and operations
management, with a track record of success in leading growing
companies. With Polaris Business Group, Susan has served as interim
executive at start-up internet services and software companies, and has
completed projects for large international corporations and a large
public university.
Prior to founding Polaris Business Group in
1998, Susan was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at
Conifer Crent Company, a $60 million independent distributor in
Northern California. Susan headed the due diligence team which
completed the acquisition of Conifer Crent by Unisource Worldwide,
Inc., including the successful merger of a private company into a
publicly-held corporation.
Previously, Susan held executive
positions with companies in a variety of industries, including
technology, distribution, service, and financial institutions. She has
developed business plans and implemented budgets for start-ups,
completed mergers/acquisitions for mid-sized companies, and initiated
business proposals and financial models for large corporations and a
public university. Susan's experience in a variety of business
environments provides her with the flexibility to make an immediate
contribution within any organization.
Susan received her MBA in
Finance (summa cum laude) from Golden Gate University, and her Bachelor
of Science degree (magna cum laude) from Brigham Young University.

Jonathan Perdue
Jonathan brings to
Polaris Business Group years of executive leadership in a diverse range
of business environments. His career experience includes starting,
developing and selling companies. He has demonstrated the ability to
quickly identify critical issues and opportunities, then focus and
position a management team for success. Jonathan's contributions with
Polaris include serving as an interim executive for a web-based
recruiting software firm and for a security awareness software company.
Prior
to his alliance with Polaris, he served as President of Conifer Crent
Company, a $60 million distribution business with operations in
Northern and Central California. He oversaw the company's acquisition
by $7 billion Unisource Worldwide, the largest distributor of paper and
packaging products in North America. In his tenure as President, his
division was consistently the most profitable of the 147 divisions
nationwide.
Jonathan joined Crent Company in its first year of
operation. He was instrumental in leading the company through several
defining events, including planning a strategic geographic acquisition,
leading a merger with a competitor to strengthen market position,
establishing a sales strategy tuned to the financial objectives of the
company, and creating an ecommerce B2B web presence. He was a partner
and member of the Board of Directors of the firm.
He co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of the Solar Center, a solar energy design and installation business.
Jonathan
was graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at
Berkeley. He is a guest lecturer at the McLaren Graduate School of
Business at the University of San Francisco. |
